We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to guide our web and mobile applications development team.  Your responsibilities will include overseeing the software development lifecycle, maintaining up-to-date industry and market knowledge, and to reinforce a culture of high-quality software development. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with the development teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies 
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into interactive and visually appealing experiences 
  • Provide technical estimates and perform technical risk assessments for project planning  
  • Making sure that solution meets regulatory, security, industry standards and contractual requirements
  • Deliver high quality projects and products on-time and on-budget
  • Coaching and mentoring the development team to grow our skill base 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives  
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 
  • 8+ years of experience as a Web and Mobile Applications Developer  
  • 3+ Years leadership experience in guiding and managing web and mobile application development teams
  • Familiar and up to date with modern web development tools and methods
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining full stack, end-to-end applications including enterprise solutions, iOS and Android mobile development 
  • Proficiency in the following languages: C / C++, JavaScript, C# 
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue)
  • Experience with server-side technologies, such as Node.js and .NET
  • Understanding of the UX/UI process and ability to translate UI designs to application implementation
  • Best practices for CI/CD and version control
  • Security minded and familiar with best practices in cyber security
  • Experience implementing authentication and access control
  • Able to effectively analyze project requirements and create execution plans
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills 
  • Understanding and experience with the full software development lifecycle and requirements development
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology, processes, and tools 
  • Must be a team player with excellent leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills 
Desired Qualifications: 
  • Understanding of web server technology, ex NGINX or Apache
  • Familiarity with Graphic Engines (ex Unreal Engine or Unity)
  • Production software hosting and deployment
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and API development
  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubemetes)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud native system design (ex AWS, Azure)
  • Exposure to machine learning and data science application
  • Exposure to mobile application development frameworks
  • Experience with additional languages (ex Go, Python)
